Be part of something special from the very beginning.

Do you want a job where every day matters?

Would you love to be part of a brand-new team, helping to create an inspiring learning environment for children with complex needs from day one?

Rated Good by Ofsted (June 2023), Exeter House School is an exceptional all-through specialist provision supporting children and young people aged 4-19 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism and complex needs.

As part of Brunel Academies Trust, we believe there are no barriers, only potential.
We are excited to be opening our new Tidworth Satellite Site for children aged 4-8 and are looking for caring, enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our founding team. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new provision and grow alongside it.

All about the role:

At Exeter House School we work to remove barriers and create opportunities for all our students. Success isn't measured in grades.......

Sometimes it's:

• A child communicating a need for the first time.
• A child trying a new food or taking their first steps
• A smile, a new friendship or a moment of independence.
• Helping a child achieve something they never thought possible.

Our Teaching Assistants are at the heart of these moments.
If you're passionate about supporting children, enjoy working as part of a team and want a role that is genuinely rewarding, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for people who:

✅ Are kind, patient and nurturing
✅ Have a great sense of humour and positivity
✅ Can build trusting relationships with children and families
✅ Are adaptable and enjoy working collaboratively
✅ Celebrate small steps and big achievements equally
✅ Want to make a genuine difference every day

Previous SEND experience is welcomed but not essential. We value attitude, commitment and willingness to learn. Full training and support will be provided.

What you'll be doing

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them access exciting learning opportunities and develop their independence, communication and life skills.
You'll:

• Support pupils on a 1:1, small group and whole-class basis
• Help adapt learning activities to individual needs
• Encourage pupils' confidence, communication and independence
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals
• Support pupils' personal care wellbeing and medical needs where required
• Celebrate and record progress, however small
• Help create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment

No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.
