Your team
The Pictet Tech division specialises in designing and integrating cutting-edge software applications, including advanced portfolio management systems, sophisticated trading platforms, and comprehensive banking and corporate solutions. As a key contributor to the Group’s strategic advancements, the division plays a vital role in driving transformative innovations that enhance our services and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
As part of the Software Engineering team, whose mission is to provide the Group’s banking business lines with tools dedicated to transaction management, you will help design innovative new features and enhance existing applications in an Agile environment. You will work closely with engineers and business stakeholders to build cloud-ready, data-driven solutions, leveraging AI to boost productivity.
Your role
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT teams, gathering, challenging and translating requirements into clear functional and technical specifications, particularly in ETD trading, OTC trading, settlement and reconciliation, and interbank messaging.
- Work closely with the product manager to support product discovery and product strategy through the analysis of business challenges, operational constraints and business opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria), ensuring traceability to business objectives and contributing to solution feasibility assessments with architects and the development team.
- Collaborate closely with developers and architects to design solutions leveraging modern architectures, including APIs, event-driven patterns, cloud technologies, AI and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Configure and implement business requirements, perform and/or coordinate testing activities (functional, regression and user acceptance testing), and maintain up-to-date documentation and release notes.
- Support backlog refinement and sprint planning, clarify requirements with developers, QA engineers and DevOps teams, and contribute to the timely and high-quality delivery of product increments.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of solutions in production, monitor application performance and system behaviour, and coordinate deployment activities.
- Analyse and resolve production incidents (L2/L3 support), perform root cause analysis and collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement sustainable fixes and continuous improvements.
- Provide support to business stakeholders in Switzerland and abroad, gather feedback and translate it into continuous product improvements.
