About Mecka AI
Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI.
We design and operate global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems.
We work closely with frontier robotics teams to bridge real-world data, simulation, learning-based systems, and deployed hardware.
About the Role
You will turn ambitious data requirements into successful capture programs, from the first pilot to collection at scale. Mecka's ability to teach robots from real-world experience depends on delivering useful data across devices, operators, and locations. You will own that outcome, with clear standards for quality, capacity, and delivery.
You will validate captures yourself, resolve constraints with engineering and operations, and build plans grounded in measured output.
What You'll Do
- Turn dataset requirements into capture programs with clear quality standards, capacity plans, and delivery milestones.
- Own program readiness and delivery across device availability, operator training, recording capacity, and data review.
- Plan and validate pilot captures before expanding operations.
- Investigate data-quality issues with engineering and operations teams, and verify that corrective actions work.
- Use measured capacity and data acceptance rates to forecast delivery, identify risks, and adjust the plan.
What You Bring
Must-have:
- Experience delivering technical programs that combine hardware, software, and field operations.
- Ability to build practical schedules, map dependencies, and resolve technical blockers across teams.
- Understanding of sensor data, calibration, synchronization, and common recording failures.
- Skill in analyzing throughput, quality, capacity, and cost using spreadsheets, queries, or scripts.
- Ability to inspect recordings and diagnostic logs and verify that a fix works.
- Clear written communication, including operating procedures, technical decisions, and realistic delivery forecasts.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with robotics datasets or recording programs involving several sensor types.
- Experience improving operator workflows or automating data-quality checks.
About You
- You are ambitious about what you build. You can point to results you personally delivered.
- You care deeply about your craft, pursue difficult questions, and learn quickly.
