About Polygon Labs
Polygon Labs is a global blockchain payments company building and operating infrastructure to move money instantly, reliably, and at internet scale, with the mission to move all money onchain. It is building the Polygon Open Money Stack, an open and integrated stack of services and technologies to instantly and reliably move money anywhere, and put it to work. Its infrastructure has facilitated trillions of dollars in onchain value transfer and supported millions of transactions daily for some of the globe's largest banks, fintechs, enterprises, and consumer applications.
About the Role
As fintechs and financial institutions integrate the Polygon Open Money Stack, the quality of the integration experience increasingly shapes how quickly partners reach production. Polygon operates as a US-regulated payments platform, licensed in 48 states through 37 money transmitter licenses and 11 exemptions, and our partner base is growing.
Today, many partner integration questions are routed to Engineering. This slows product development and leads to the same questions being answered repeatedly. The Technical Solutions Engineer will own the technical experience of building on Polygon: API and integration documentation, the integration path, technical support during the sales process, and bringing signed partners to production.
Our standard is a best-in-class developer experience in payments, where a capable developer, including one working with AI coding tools, can integrate with minimal direct support.
This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Account Management & Support.
Responsibilities
- API and integration documentation: Own the accuracy, completeness, and clarity of Polygon’s API and integration documentation, and keep it current as the platform evolves.
- Self-serve integration: Build quickstarts, sample code, and reference architectures that enable developers, including those using AI coding tools, to integrate independently.
- Technical expertise: Serve as the primary technical resource in sales conversations alongside Business Development and throughout partner integrations, then document solutions so they’re reusable.
- Partner go-live: Lead signed partners through requirements intake, provisioning following KYB and KYC approval, sandbox testing, webhook configuration, and go-live validation, in partnership with Integration Delivery.
- Platform knowledge: Develop deep expertise across ramps and bank rails, wallets and accounts, custodial and non-custodial flows, virtual accounts, deposit addresses, cross-chain movement, and webhooks.
