WHAT THIS JOB IS
Dune's consultants spend much of the day on video calls with clients abroad, and a broken headset, a locked account or a slow VPN can cost a meeting. Dune is hiring a Technical Support Specialist to keep the team's laptops, accounts and meeting tools working. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in the United States.
THE WORK ITSELF
- Answer support requests by chat, phone and remote session
- Set up and ship laptops with security settings and backups in place
- Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, licenses and multi-factor sign-in
- Troubleshoot Teams, Zoom and VPN problems
- Keep the hardware and software inventory current
- Write short guides for the questions that come up most
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Some experience in technical support, help desk or desktop support, including internships
- Windows and macOS troubleshooting
- Basic Microsoft 365 administration
- CompTIA A+ or a Microsoft certification (bonus)
- Experience supporting remote workers (bonus)
- Intune or another device management tool (bonus)
