Territory Growth Manager

You own your market. Not a piece of it. All of it. As Territory Growth Manager, you are the primary owner of revenue in your territory: prospecting new consumer and B2B relationships, nurturing the accounts and partnerships you've already built, and executing the strategic plan that hits your financial targets.

Territory Growth ManagerCompany: Gesture US, Inc. Location: In-market, field-based. Hiring across: New York (2), Denver, Reports to: TBD (Marketing) Employment Type: Full-time W2 Compensation: Base salary + territory KPI bonus + commission on closed B2B referrals

About Gesture

Gesture is a connection and behavior activation platform. Not a gifting app. We operate two engines: a consumer mobile app and Reach360, our enterprise B2B suite, both powered by our proprietary REAL AI engine. Our purpose is to create the deepest connection possible. Our tagline says the rest: Stop Transacting. Start Connecting.

We are building the world's most powerful platform for real connection at the intersection of people, technology, and emotion. Your job is to make that real in your city.

The Role

You own your market. Not a piece of it. All of it.

As Territory Growth Manager, you are the primary owner of revenue in your territory: prospecting new consumer and B2B relationships, nurturing the accounts and partnerships you've already built, and executing the strategic plan that hits your financial targets.

Consumer adoption, local brand credibility, community presence, and the B2B pipeline in your territory rise or fall on your execution. This is a boots-on-the-ground role modeled on the playbooks that launched Yelp, Lyft, and Postmates in new markets: real events, real relationships, real users in the room.

You are not a contractor handing out flyers. You are the face of Gesture in your territory and the person accountable for its growth curve.

What You Will Do

• Own territory growth targets for consumer app signups, activation, and engagement
• Study local market trends, user behavior, and competitor moves to spot new territory opportunities before they're obvious
• Design and host market events end to end: business mixers, user meetups, co-branded activations
• Run the Yelp playbook: bring local businesses, schools, and brands into a room with our most engaged users and first-party data proof points, and let credibility do the selling
• Execute guerrilla and street-level activations: pop-ups, event partnerships, gift card drops, co-marketing alongside city and community events
• Recruit and cultivate power users into a local community that shows up when you call
• Manage and grow existing local partnerships and B2B accounts to drive renewals, expansion, and repeat business not just new logos
• Bridge B2C and B2B: source qualified brand, EDU, and CPG introductions and hand them to the Reach360 sales team
• Track your pipeline, forecast territory revenue, and report weekly on your numbers. You will be managed on KPIs, not activity

KPIs You Will Own (Measured Monthly)

• New app signups and activations in territory
• Events hosted, attendance, and cost per attendee
• Qualified B2B, EDU, and CPG introductions sourced
• Local partnerships signed, activated, and retained
• Territory CAC vs. target

How You Get Paid

• Competitive base salary
• Quarterly bonus tied to your territory KPIs
• Commission on qualified B2B referrals that close with Reach360

Your consumer growth pays you. Your B2B introductions pay you. Both engines, one owner.

This Role Is Not for You If

• You need daily direction to know what to do next
• You think growth marketing means scheduling social posts
• You have never carried a number and been held to it
• You are uncomfortable walking into a room of strangers and leaving with ten new relationships
• You'd rather guess than track your numbers in a CRM
• Evenings and weekends for events feel like an imposition rather than the job

This Role Is for You If

• You treat a territory like your own business
• You have launched, grown, or owned a market before
• You get energy from building community, not just measuring it
• You see as much opportunity in growing an existing account as in landing a new one
• You want your results to be visible, attributable, and rewarded
• You believe real-world connection beats another digital ad impression

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years in field marketing, community growth, territory management, or market launch roles
• Alumni of Yelp, Lyft, Uber, DoorDash, Postmates, or similar market-launch organizations strongly preferred
• Proven end-to-end event execution: sourcing, promotion, hosting, follow-up, ROI reporting
• Strong sales fundamentals: comfortable prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new business
• Comfort with CRM and sales analytics tools to track pipeline health and forecast accurately
• Comfort with KPI-driven management and weekly metric reviews
• Based in market with an existing local network strongly preferred
• Ability to work evenings and weekends for events

Why This Matters

Every market we light up proves the thesis: people are more connected than ever and feel less connection than ever. You are the person who closes that gap in your city, one room, one event, one relationship at a time.

We don't replace digital. We complete it.
