About the role
Do you have training in automotive engineering, knowledge of mechanics, and a passion for the high-performance motor sector? If you are looking for a technical, dynamic position with a high degree of precision in the management of dynamic testing within a world-class automotive testing environment, this opportunity is for you. We offer you the possibility of joining a specialist technical team in Santa Oliva (Tarragona), actively participating in the preparation, assembly, balancing, and technical support of wheel and tire assemblies for homologation projects and racing vehicles.
What you'll do
In your day-to-day at the technical center, you will be the person responsible for the technical assembly, maintenance, and mass conditioning of wheels for dynamic testing, performing the following main responsibilities:
Mass assembly and disassembly of tires: daily adjustment of test tires onto specific rims using automatic/semi-automatic tire changers and high-pressure inflators.
Precision balancing: execution of dynamic and static balancing of each wheel-tire assembly using high-precision machinery to prevent vibrations at high speeds on track.
Mechanical and workshop operations: continuous use of pneumatic tools (impact wrenches, compressors), physical handling of wheel/rim assemblies (heavy loads between 18 kg and 30 kg), and moving transport trolleys.
Inspection and quality control: thorough review of the product condition, ensuring strict compliance with methodological specifications before each test run.
Adherence to protocols and technical environment: compliance with prevention regulations in areas with the presence of rubber dust, continuous handling of synthetic material, and environments with high acoustic stress typical of a track.
