UI/UX Designer (m/f/d)

Do you believe software should be more beautiful? When it comes to design, do you see yourself more as a scientist than an artist? Are you looking to join a team that will go the extra mile to deliver brilliant results?

• Develop high-quality visual assets and UI components, ensuring consistency with our design guidelines and brand identity
• Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, component libraries, and design specifications, to ensure a consistent and cohesive visual language across all our products
• Design and develop new concepts, pages and components for our company and product websites
• Co-create our Yatta product design across all media types and channels
• Designing visually appealing and intuitive UI/UX for our own products as well as customer projects
• Collaborate with co-founders, software engineers, marketeers, and writers to ensure the accurate implementation of designs

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in graphic design, communication design, interaction design, digital media or similar
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web frameworks (Note: You won’t need to code—that’s the developers’ job—but understanding the basics improves collaboration with the team)
• The ability to envision design as a system with implications on future outcomes and deliverables ideally backed by experience with software design systems, libraries, and components
• Strong analytical skills to transform complexity into design that works and inspires, a keen eye for aesthetics, usability, and typography with a penchant for precision and detail, to the point of perfection
• Interest in tech and development topics as well as issues and topics in and around startup culture

• You share our vision. This is a good start to head for the same objectives and mission goals. It is of greatest importance to us to maximize positive impact on the world. In the end, this is the purpose of our company. And this is the reason for our work.

• You share the same values. We love our culture code! You don’t have to have the same feeling right away. And you don’t have to be like that completely – none of us are. But we believe it’s better to be driven by shared values rather than by rules and titles. ;-)

• You believe this is the very best (working) environment for you. At least for the foreseeable future. Like Akio Toyoda, we believe the key to making quality products is to develop quality people.
