Reporting directly to our UK Chief Information Officer, you’ll lead our UK Infrastructure team, oversee the performance and resilience of our IT services and drive continuous improvement across our technology estate. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to the development of our wider Group IT infrastructure strategy.
This is a hybrid role with at least 2 days per week required in the Bristol office. As travel is required to our sites and to our Data Centre locations, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
You’ll take responsibility for the delivery and ongoing development of our IT infrastructure services across the UK, balancing operational performance with longer-term technology improvements.
Key responsibilities include:

- Team leadership: Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, encouraging collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Service delivery: Oversee the performance, security and resilience of our infrastructure services, ensuring agreed service levels are maintained.
- Technology management: Oversee our server, storage, network, cloud, backup, end-user computing and telecommunications environments, ensuring effective maintenance and lifecycle management.
You’ll also lead the response to major infrastructure incidents, ensuring timely resolution and identifying opportunities to prevent future issues. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll oversee infrastructure budgets, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and provide technical leadership on complex infrastructure challenges.
You’ll be an experienced IT infrastructure leader with a strong technical background and a proven ability to manage complex technology environments. You’ll combine strategic thinking with technical expertise, bringing the leadership skills needed to develop teams, improve services and deliver technology transformation.
