Our clients rely on us for accurate financial information and strategic advice. We're growing steadily and are looking for an experienced accounting professional who wants to become a key leader within the firm.
What You'll Do
Client Accounting
- Manage bookkeeping for multiple client accounts
- Perform monthly reconciliations and close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Ensure high-quality client deliverables
Tax Support
- Prepare and review business and individual tax returns
- Assist with tax planning and compliance
- Research accounting and tax issues as needed
- Support clients throughout tax season
Team Leadership
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff
- Review work for accuracy and completeness
- Improve workflows, documentation, and quality control
- Help build and scale the accounting team over time
- Serve as the first point of escalation for accounting questions
Client Service
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Resolve accounting issues proactively
- Manage deadlines across multiple engagements
- Deliver consistent, accurate work with minimal supervision
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of public accounting or client accounting experience
- Experience with Drake Tax, and TaxDome required
