User Experience (UX) Designer & Researcher

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer & Researcher to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer.

This initiative will transform how users access and interact with a portfolio of production applications by creating a unified digital experience featuring a single sign-on, centralized workspace, and streamlined navigation. • Facilitate bi-weekly usability testing sessions to evaluate design effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate research findings into user personas, journey maps, and prioritized recommendations that inform design decisions.

User Experience Design and Accessibility

• Design intuitive user interfaces for the platform's landing page, inbox, and navigation using a U.S. Web Design System (USWDS)-based design framework.
• Develop user-centered design solutions that support a consistent experience across integrated applications.
• Verify that implemented designs meet Section 508 accessibility requirements and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards.
