Seeking UXO Safety Officer candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (UXO Safety Officer) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - UXO Safety Officer | Environmental Management [USACE038043]

Implement and enforce safety protocols in UXO operations; conduct safety training; monitor compliance. Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Qualified Personnel: The Senior Unexploded Ordnance Supervisor (SUXOS), Unexploded Ordnance Safety Officer (UXOSO), and Unexploded Ordnance Quality Control Supervisor (UXOQC) (Resumes may be required at the task order level) shall be employees of ProSidian Consulting (The Prime Contractor) or submit a Letter of Commitment signed by the UXO employee at the time of Task Order RFP.

Responsibilities and Duties:

-- Implement and enforce safety protocols across all UXO operations, ensuring compliance with DoD and project-specific safety standards.

-- Conduct safety briefings, training sessions, and risk assessments for UXO personnel.

-- Monitor on-site activities to identify and mitigate safety hazards related to UXO operations.

-- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

-- Maintain and update safety documentation, including risk assessments, safety plans, and incident reports.

The designee shall be qualified IAW DDESB TP 18.

Permits/Licenses: Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways. Team ProSidian shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including Technical Bulletin TB 700-2, “Department Of Defense Ammunition And Explosives Hazard Classification Procedures,” when transporting MEC. Rights of entry on and off Government property may be required.
