Job Overview
We’re hiring a Vice President of Sales, Protection & Controls!
Hubbell Utility Solutions is looking for a proven commercial leader to help shape the next chapter of growth for our Protection & Controls business, including Beckwith Electric and EIG.
Reporting to the HUS Vice President of Global Sales and the VP/GM of Protection and Controls, this role is responsible for assessing and optimizing the sales organization to enhance commercial effectiveness, accelerate market penetration, and drive sustainable revenue growth. The Vice President will cultivate and strengthen executive-level relationships with key customers, industry influencers, and strategic partners, while leading new product introduction efforts and go-to-market strategies. This leader will develop and execute comprehensive account strategies aligned with the BU’s revenue, profitability, and long-term growth objectives, ensuring Hubbell’s continued leadership in this space.
A Day In The Life
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide sales leadership across both our existing installed base and establish new relationships in the markets served. Accountability will be for the P&C Business Unit.
Assess the current sales structure, coverage model, and processes; design and implement structural and operational enhancements to improve commercial effectiveness, scalability, and win rates.
Own and actively manage the end-to-end opportunity pipeline, driving rigorous monthly pipeline reviews and forecast accuracy for P&C.
Lead value proposition strategy and executive engagement for large opportunities when applicable.
Drive a clear market strategy and utilize direct sales team. Work with HUS commercial team to increase pipeline in smart solutions space.
Deliver on orders and revenue plans across all P&C BU, leveraging deep expertise to shape differentiated win strategies.
Build and expand strategic relationships with distribution and manufacturers reps to increase market reach, accelerate opportunity conversion, and close high-value deals.
Lead and coordinate targeted sales and marketing campaigns to increase market awareness and customer engagement for P&C’s solutions and systems.
Champion a growth-oriented, winning culture, instilling accountability, urgency, and customer focus across the sales organization.
Drive new product introduction and commercialization strategies. Align market needs with product roadmaps.
Lead the development and execution of NPI/NPD market solutions, including pilot programs and strategic customer partnerships.
Partner with the operations team to support the sales, inventory, and operations planning process.
