The ideal candidate will have proven technical leadership experience, strong client-facing capabilities, and the ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications end-to-end (frontend and backend integration) using Python (Fast API), React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Databricks. Build responsive, reusable, and modular user interfaces from Figma, Lovable, or similar design tools. ¢ Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, AI-powered services, and cloud-native solutions. ¢ Implement micro-frontend architectures and modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js. ¢ Deploy, manage, and optimise applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. ¢ Build scalable web applications, manage databases, and implement robust APIs to support data/AI workflows.
Performance, Security & Quality
¢ Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability. ¢ Implement modern state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Jotai, or TanStack Query. ¢ Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. ¢ Develop automated unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library. ¢ Enforce secure coding practices, access controls, and repository governance.
Client Engagement
¢ Serve as a primary technical contact for client engagements. ¢ Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, effort estimation, and project planning. ¢ Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience ¢ Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). ¢ 57 years of experience in full-stack application development. ¢ Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Mandatory Technical Skills ¢ Expert-level proficiency in Python, FastAPI, RESTful services, and AI API integration.
