Warehouse Team Manager - Night Shift

Warehouse Team ManagerSalary: £38,44240 HoursShift Available: (Nights) 10:00pm - 6:00am with a typical shift pattern working Thursday to Monday rest days Tues and Wed Bicester

If you are as ambitious as we are and you’re looking to progress a career in warehouse operations, join us as a Warehouse Team Manager at our Bicester Depot.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring your team of warehouse operatives are working safely and efficiently, and that key targets are being achieved. You will lead by example and drive high performance through great communication, teamwork and building strong working relationships. You will work closely with the shift manager to plan workload and resource effectively, as well as developing the skills of your team members to support their career aspirations and increase shift capability. There’s paperwork and administration to complete as part of this role, so you’ll need an eye for detail and have the ability to work accurately and in a timely manner.

The above position will be Thursday to Monday on the Night Shift, but some flexibility is required. You will enjoy working in a busy role which requires you to think on your feet and pro-actively problem solve - dealing with operational challenges as they arise, escalating to more senior managers if necessary. You will want to make a difference and proactively look for ways to make improvements and challenge current ways of working.

To join us as a Warehouse Team Manager you will have previous experience of leading a team in a fast paced, time pressured environment. Experience within a warehouse operation would be advantageous but is not essential. What’s key is your ability and desire to learn - understanding the business and operation quickly.

In return we offer a great package including basic salary, generous holiday allowance plus the option to purchase more, pension plus huge discounts on award- winning products. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to further enhance your skills through our Learning & Development programmes. In Brakes you can really be anything you want to be!
