ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re hiring a freelance Website Developer to build, maintain, and improve websites for brands. You’ll translate approved designs and creative direction into responsive, maintainable sites; structure content so it is easy to update; and carry work through testing, launch, and handoff. This is a hands-on implementation role that combines keen visual attention to detail with sound technical judgment and dependable delivery.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Approved pages and features launch on time, with the design preserved across agreed devices and browsers.
- Forms, content, integrations, and key user journeys are tested; technical issues are prioritized and communicated clearly.
- Stakeholders know what is ready, blocked, or awaiting a decision without having to repeatedly chase updates.
- Sites are structured so routine content updates can be made efficiently without unnecessary developer support. Another developer can understand the implementation and its limitations.
